Study Travel Grant from the Hong Kong Chapter of Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE)

From 30th May to 15th June, 2017, two of our civil engineering students (Kwan Chun Lo and Li Si Jin) obtained a study travel grant from the Hong Kong Chapter of Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) to visit three universities (University of Toronto, York University and Ryerson University) in Toronto, Canada. The Ph.D. students of the University of Toronto delivered a presentation on several excellent researches projects and introduced their laboratories of Civil Engineering to our students. At York University, our students were arranged to have site visits to a building under construction and a subway station. At Ryerson University, our students were guided to tour an innovative designed library building. Apart from academic exchange, our students enjoyed wonderful city sightseeing of celebrated attractions such as Casa Loma, Royal Ontario Museum, CN Tower, Yonge-Dundus Square, Niagara Falls, and etc. All of these natural and cultural sights gave a deep and profound impression to our students.
