On 20th April 2018, Department of Civil Engineering organized a site visit to the MateriaLab at Tai Lam, Tuen Mun. This site visit provided an opportunity for our students to have a better understanding of the testing methods in various construction materials in Hong Kong.

Dr. Yang Yi of our department was invited to visit and deliver a technical talk entitled “Discrete Element Method in Geotechnical Engineering” at CUMT.
