| On 19 October 2016, Ir Prof. Y.L. Wong was invited by The Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification and Hong Kong Accreditation Service to present a talk on “Behavior of Burnt Structures and Testing Requirements” in the Seminar on Testing and Certification for Fire Safety in Buildings. Prof. Wong discussed the behavior of concrete and steel during and after fire exposure, and the applicability of various testing methods to quantify the residual properties of concrete and steel after fire attack.
