On 28th October 2018, Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) organized a joint geology field trip with THEi and our Civil Engineering Department to Tung Ping Chau (東平洲). Through this activity, students learnt more about Ping Chau Formation, rocks identification, weathering processes, and Fossil studies on the sedimentary rocks that formed from the early Paleogene period.
