Programme Overview and Aims
The Programme is designed to provide further education to graduates in Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering. Advanced courses enriched with latest innovation technologies are offered with the aims to enable students to:
- carry out the planning and financial management of large scale infrastructure projects;
- execute effectively the construction and management of complex infrastructure projects;
- be familiar with the practice of contract law and dispute resolution procedures;
- acquire in-depth knowledge in the construction of bridges, tall buildings and foundations;
- apply latest innovation and digital techniques to monitor construction process for enhancement of site safety and improvement of quality and management efficiency;
- establish quality management and assurance systems for infrastructure construction; and
- gain the experience to carry out an individual capstone project.
